Overall I felt that it went well, and the ceedback I got was really positive. The group learnt the signs easily, and ended able to sign their names, as well as having the ability to play a Charades-style game. It also means that I now know how I could deliver another quick lesson on finger-signing; hopefully I'll be able to teach others, as I feel it's fun, interesting and important :3
Number 8- Teach Someone The Basics Of BSL
As a final part to the course, we took it in turns to deliver a 5-8 minute lesson to the group, teaching a non-swimming-related skill. As earlier in the week BSL had come up in conversation and was deemed both useful and interesting, I decided to use finger-signing for mine- I realised later that it would also complete another goal.
